Has anyone heard more about Kayla Winfrey’s role as a mentor in her community? I read she was well-loved and known for her kindness. It breaks my heart to think about the impact her loss will have on those who looked up to her, especially the younger ones she might have inspired through her work as an EMT. She seemed to truly embody what it means to give back to one’s community. I can only imagine the void this tragedy leaves. Hoping the family finds some form of peace and that the authorities track down the person responsible. Any updates on community vigils or memorials? It seems like there should be some sort of event to celebrate her life and honor all the good she did.
