Hey everyone, I've been following David D. Price's case for a while now, and something about it just doesn't sit right with me. I recently read up on some of the local efforts to curb gun violence in Buffalo back in 2009, and it seems like there was a lot going on policy-wise that year, but not much improvement on the ground. It makes me wonder if there were any connections between the policy makers and the outcomes of these cases, or if there were initiatives that actually made some impact in the community. It’s so unfair that families like the Prices are left waiting for answers while the system struggles to catch up. If anyone knows if there have been any recent pushes in Buffalo to tackle these unsolved cases specifically, I'd love to hear about it. Keeping David and his loved ones in my thoughts.
Hey everyone,
I'm sitting here thinking about David D. Price and can’t help but feel this heavy weight knowing his family still has so many unanswered questions. I grew up in Buffalo and remember when his tragedy shook our community. It feels like yesterday, but it’s been over a decade, and the pain from that summer hasn’t faded for so many families.
What really hits me about David’s case is how it highlights the endless cycle of violence impacting our youth. Each year, we hear more names added to the list, and it scares me. I wonder if enough is being done to prevent this epidemic of violence. Can anyone shed light on what initiatives have been taken recently? Or maybe some thoughts on how we, as a community, can push for better change? David’s story deserves attention and action. Thanks everyone for keeping his memory alive.
Stay safe,
