I’ve been thinking a lot about the Uber driver who was there during the shooting. Being in the wrong place at the wrong time must have been terrifying, but I'm hoping they’re getting some kind of support or counseling after witnessing such a traumatic event. I can’t imagine what it would be like to see someone’s life end like that. It’s a reminder of how unpredictable and fragile life can be. I hope the driver will be okay and finds a way to process everything they saw. It’s good they were able to provide their statement; it seems their account could be crucial in ensuring justice for Justin. If anyone knows of resources for witnesses of violent crimes, maybe it would be helpful to share them here.
