I'm still trying to wrap my head around the heartbreaking events that took place in Youngsville. Living in such a close-knit town, it's beyond surreal to process the loss of little Jasper and Kasie. I've been thinking a lot about the role social isolation might play in cases like these. Brett seemed to be a bit of a loner, at least from what I've heard around town. It makes me wonder if he had someone to talk to or if he kept everything bottled up. Mental health is such a crucial element, but it often goes unnoticed until something terrible happens. I'm not saying this excuses his actions in any way—far from it—but maybe it emphasizes how important it is to reach out and be kind to those who might be struggling silently. My heart goes out to the family and everyone affected by this unthinkable tragedy. Does anyone else have thoughts on how the community might rally together to offer more support to those who need it?
