Hey everyone. I’ve been following the tragic case of Jared Strup Sr. from the outset, and something that keeps popping into my mind is the eeriness of that prior shooting in January. It’s hard not to wonder if there’s more depth to the connection there than we’ve been told so far. Preston Gill’s involvement in the January incident makes me think there’s a tangled web yet to be unraveled. I can’t imagine the immense stress and fear Jared’s family and neighbors must be feeling, especially knowing a shooting had already taken place at the house just weeks before. Living in constant worry like that isn’t easy. Maybe the neighborhood’s past issues with burglaries and Gill’s arrest will eventually shine a light on things and help bring some peace to those who knew and loved Jared. Until then, I hope the investigators can piece together why these events converged in such a tragic way.
