Does anyone else find it bizarre that McCloud chose to return to the crime scene after the shooting spree? I'm trying to wrap my head around what was going through his mind when he drove back to confront the deputy. It seems almost like he was in a state of complete recklessness or maybe desperation. I can't even imagine the horror the deputy must have felt being struck and then immediately faced with an armed McCloud. It's such a miracle that the deputy survived and was able to act with such courage under extreme pressure. My heart truly goes out to the families of Henry McClean Jr. and Francisco Pacheco. They’re left picking up the pieces and trying to understand why something so devastating occurred in their community. I hope the investigation sheds more light on what really happened that night.
