I can't stop thinking about Dontarrius and the impact he had on those around him. I'm from the area, and though I didn't know him personally, I've heard so many wonderful things about "Boss." It's clear he was a beacon in the community, always ready to light up a room with his music and his faith. I feel for his kids, Anijah and Aiden. Growing up without their dad is going to be so hard, especially when he was such a big presence in their lives. It's incredibly sad to think about how this moment of violence will affect them in the long run. I also wonder how the family will find a way to heal from this. It's tough enough losing someone you love, but when it's through family conflict, it must be even harder to navigate through. Prayers up for everyone involved, and hoping that Stanley can find a way to understand the weight of his actions, even if it's too late to change the past.
