Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Deanthony Payne? It’s so frustrating to see yet another promising life cut short by violence. I've been thinking a lot about how the absence of a suspect is just adding to the anxiety for his family and friends. I can't even imagine the pain and uncertainty they're experiencing right now. It's particularly concerning that this was labeled as a domestic incident. It makes me wonder about the dynamics leading up to that heartbreaking night. Was this preventable in any way? What has to change to stop these kinds of tragedies from happening? My heart goes out to all who knew and loved Deanthony. It’s a grim reminder that for some, home isn't always a safe space. I hope someone with information finds the courage to come forward soon. We owe it to Deanthony and all other victims to seek justice.
