Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Amy Byrd and Lanaya Lewis in Zelienople? I can’t stop thinking about how their lives were cut short so senselessly. I keep wondering about the family dynamics. How heartbreaking it must be for the family to reconcile the fact that the person responsible was their own relative. Family gatherings must have been so normal once, yet all these underlying issues led to such a tragic end. What was A.C. Byrd Jr. going through? Not that it justifies his actions whatsoever, but understanding might help provide some closure. To anyone from the Zelienople area or those who knew Amy and Lanaya, my thoughts are with you. We should all be more mindful of the warning signs in family disputes, as you never know what someone might be capable of.
