Has anyone else been following the unfolding details surrounding Luis Fernando Hernandez's tragic death in Charlotte? It's hard to wrap my head around how something so senseless could happen in broad daylight. And it's just so chilling to think Jones allegedly fired those shots from behind parked cars—concealed and calculated. I've been wondering about the role that surveillance footage played in piecing this case together. It's a sobering reminder of how important cameras have become in solving crimes. Just imagine how different things would be if that footage didn't exist. My heart truly goes out to Luis's family; knowing that some form of justice might be served is a tiny relief in an otherwise awful situation. I hope and pray that those close to him can find some semblance of peace as the trial approaches. Does anyone have any thoughts on how these systems have helped catch criminals in similar cases lately?
