I've been thinking a lot about the role that domestic violence might have played in Staci's tragic death. It's devastating to know that someone as giving and beloved as Staci faced such turmoil in her personal life. She was involved in so many organizations dedicated to helping families and children, which makes this all the more heartbreaking. How could someone who was so committed to aiding others not have had the resources or opportunity to find help herself? It makes me wonder how we, as a community, can support organizations that work to prevent domestic violence and help those in crisis. It's important that we remember Staci not just for how her life ended, but for all the good she did while she was with us. My heart goes out to her friends and family as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
