I can't shake this feeling that there's more to Lakeshia's boyfriend's story. It just seems too easy to say she was in jail and drop her son off without any proof to back it up. Have any of you seen cases where someone pretends the missing person is in custody to cover for their absence? It's been years, and the lack of physical evidence or legitimate paper trails is incredibly puzzling. With no jail records, it just feels off to me. I wish there was more pressure to get answers from him, as he might hold the key to unraveling this mystery. Have any similar scenarios turned up anything useful in other cases?

I recently came across Lakeshia Turner's disappearance, and something has been bothering me about the timing of events. Her boyfriend dropped off her son with her family in June 2008, claiming she was in jail in Georgia. But how did almost two years go by without anyone realizing she was missing? It seems unusual for someone to be in jail without any record, especially in a neighboring state. This makes me wonder if the boyfriend had any real knowledge of her whereabouts or involvement. Anyone else find this time gap suspicious, or have an idea of what might have happened during that period? It's frustrating to see such a significant time lapse in these cases, as crucial leads could've been lost. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
