Hey everyone, I’ve been reading through the threads and something really struck me about the Chi Omega case that I hadn’t seen discussed much: the impact on the surviving students like Karen Chandler and Kathy Kleiner. It's unimaginable the trauma they lived through, not just physically but mentally and emotionally. Surviving such an ordeal while losing friends in such a horrific way is something I can’t wrap my head around. I can't help but think about how that night must have affected their lives from then on. I imagine returning to any sense of normalcy would have been incredibly challenging. The courage it must have taken to face the world after experiencing such a brutal attack is beyond words. I hope that they found peace and healing as the years went on. It’s a reminder of the resilience and strength that often goes unnoticed in the shadow of such heinous crimes.
