Just came across Susan Curtis's case and can't help but feel a swell of emotions for her family. It’s haunting to think that she vanished during what was supposed to be just another night at a youth conference. The idea that her sister was there with her, probably thinking they'd share teenage adventures, only to be left with unanswered questions for years, is tough to wrap one's mind around. What genuinely caught my attention was the old coach who initially fell under suspicion. Given his prior history with Susan, it’s not surprising the authorities took a hard look at him. But how gut-wrenching it must've been for Sue-Sue's family to deal with more than one potential nightmare scenario – trying to imagine if someone they were familiar with could be involved, only for the case to loop into something much darker with Bundy's later confession. I can't imagine what it's like for her loved ones to carry hope and grief so intermingled, wondering if closure will ever come. Even with Bundy's confession, which should bring some direction, the lack of physical evidence is just another twist of the knife. It's like Susan's own words are lost with her, waiting to be found. If anyone finds anything new or has theories on why Bundy picked her out, I'd love to hear more about it. We owe it to Susan and her family to keep talking and searching for the truth.
