Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Jordan Symone Davis, and it’s been really difficult to process. I can’t begin to imagine what her loved ones are going through. I wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind since hearing about it: the community response in Charlotte. It’s honestly remarkable to see how the community has come together to support Jordan's family through this unimaginable time. From candlelight vigils to local businesses raising funds for her family, the solidarity is incredibly moving. It shows how a community can rally together in the face of tragedy, giving love and strength to those who need it most. Anyone else have thoughts on how impactful community support can be in cases like this? It feels like, while justice is being pursued through the legal system, healing is also happening on a communal level. Would love to hear others' perspectives.
