Does anyone else find it odd that there have been no traces of Jakeob in all this time? I understand the Skagit River can be treacherous with its currents, but you'd think something would have turned up after all these years. I remember reading about similar cases where even though the body wasn't found immediately, it eventually surfaced or was discovered downstream. Is it possible there are parts of the river where things get trapped or are particularly hard to search? I'm curious if there are any specific challenges with the Skagit that could explain why search efforts were unsuccessful. Perhaps fresh insights could be helpful in other similar cases too. Any thoughts?

Has anyone ever looked into the areas downstream from where Jake was last seen? I wonder if water currents might've taken him somewhere unexpected. Rivers can be really unpredictable, especially when the current is strong. I remember reading about other cases where people got swept farther than anyone initially thought. It might be worth checking records or talking to locals who know that part of the river well. They might have insights or know of hidden areas along the riverbank where something could've been missed during the initial search. Still holding onto hope that his family gets some answers.

Has anyone else been following Jakeob Pfluger's case? The thing that strikes me is how treacherous the Skagit River can be, especially if you're not familiar with its currents. I've been reading up on other incidents along that river, and it seems like there have been numerous accidents over the years. It's so sad that despite the efforts, his body was never recovered. I find myself wondering if there could be more done in terms of warning signs or safety measures for swimmers. For those familiar with the area, has anything changed since 2007 to improve safety, or is it still a major risk for people who decide to swim in that river? Would love to hear thoughts from locals or anyone who's familiar with river rescues.
