Hey everyone, I just wanted to share some thoughts on the incredible resilience shown by the officer injured during the arrest of Solomon Owens. It's truly remarkable that despite being shot in the head, he was saved by his ballistic helmet. We often forget the risks that law enforcement officers take in protecting our communities, and this incident really brings that to the forefront. I’m relieved to hear that both the officer and Owens survived their injuries, though it's unbelievably frustrating that such violence erupted while trying to serve justice for Joey Adams. It's hard not to think about how Joey's family and friends are coping with all these developments. They've been through so much, and it's got to be intensely overwhelming to see things unfold this way. Sending all my positive thoughts to them. And a big thank you to the Garner and Raleigh PD for their efforts—we all hope this will bring answers and some comfort to Joey’s loved ones. Would love to hear more insights or updates if anyone else has them.
