Has anyone else been deeply moved by the community's effort to remember Darwin Tirado? I've been reading about the memorials and tributes popping up throughout Chicago, and it's incredibly touching. The staff at Reunion put up a small memorial at the restaurant, where Darwin worked alongside his mother. They’ve placed flowers, candles, and messages from customers and colleagues who cared about him. It shows just how many lives he touched and how much his presence is missed. I also came across a student-driven initiative at City Colleges of Chicago, where they're setting up a scholarship in Darwin's name. It's a beautiful way to honor his memory and help others pursue their education, something Darwin was passionate about. These acts of kindness and solidarity are so important in the aftermath of such a tragic loss. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I hope they find some peace and comfort in knowing Darwin's legacy will live on in the people and places he cherished.
