Wow, this case really makes you reflect on the fragility of life and the choices some young people are making. My heart goes out to the families of Henry and Terrell during this unimaginably difficult time. I wanted to touch on something that seems to be a growing concern in many campus communities—security. Hugine Suites, like most dorms, is supposed to be a place where students feel safe, a sort of “home away from home.” It's troubling to think that someone already facing charges for a previous gun-related incident could so easily access a dorm again. Maybe it's time for universities to reevaluate their security protocols, especially when it comes to visitors. How could someone with a recent record just walk onto campus like that? It’s unsettling to think about who might be slipping through the cracks and what more can be done to prevent such tragedies in the future. Has anyone else seen changes in campus security where you are?
