I’ve been revisiting the case of Emily Hayward, the college student who went missing from the gas station off Route 15 last October. Something that caught my attention is the CCTV footage that was found and reviewed. Emily can be seen talking to what looks like a young man in an older model, red pickup truck. The footage quality isn’t the best, but the whole interaction seems friendly enough. Has there been any follow-up on identifying him? I’m curious if he was ever found and questioned. Maybe he’s just a local or someone passing through, but it seems like he might have been the last person to see her. If anyone has info or updates on this, please share!
Has anyone else been following the mysterious disappearance of Katie Mallard? I’ve been digging into the case and found it puzzling that her car was discovered locked and abandoned near that remote hiking trail she used to visit frequently. It’s odd because Katie was an experienced hiker and her friends have said she wouldn’t just leave her car like that without telling someone. There’s a lot of talk about a possible meet-up that day, but the last ping from her phone was a mile away from the trailhead. Do you think it’s possible she met with someone she knew and trusted? I keep wondering if there’s more to the story we're not seeing yet. Let's hope her family gets answers soon.
Has anyone else heard about the weird note found in Mike's car when he went missing? It was just left on the passenger seat and mentioned meeting someone at a spot near the lake the night he disappeared. The handwriting didn’t match Mike’s, according to his sister. I’m wondering if it was from the person he was supposed to meet. Plus, that area isn’t well-lit or frequently visited at night, so it seems odd to head there alone. Did anyone see sketchy cars around that area on the night of June 8th? It seems so baffling.
