Did anyone else happen to catch the bit about David Mays using his Ring camera to get alerted about the break-in? It's 2026, and I understand tech has come a long way, but I can't help but wonder about the reliability of such alerts. How responsive are these systems really in terms of differentiating between a genuine threat and a false alarm? As tragic as this whole incident is, especially for Monterio Spurling's family, it makes me think about how many other people act quickly based on the information (or sometimes misinformation) these security systems provide.
