I’ve been closely following the tragic case of Anbut Brutus, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. One thing that’s been on my mind is the location of the shooting. The area near the Elks Lodge on North 24th Street is usually pretty busy, especially on a Saturday night transitioning to early Sunday morning. It feels hard to believe that no one saw anything significant or noticed any unusual activity leading up to the gunfire. I wonder if the police have spoken to people who were in the area that night, or if potential witnesses are hesitant to come forward for some reason. It’s crucial for anyone with even the smallest piece of information to speak up—it could make all the difference. And with two firearms potentially involved, it raises so many questions about what the motive could have been. Keeping my fingers crossed that the investigation moves forward soon. Anbut's family deserves answers, and those responsible need to be held accountable.
