Did anyone catch the details about the phone call made to the police? The initial call was reported as a burglary in progress around 2:31 a.m. I'm curious who made that call and what exactly was said. It’s just puzzling to me how Caleb, Ashley's husband, was at home with the kids, and yet this whole situation was initially framed as a burglary. It makes me wonder if there was a struggle or something chaotic that night that led to the call being perceived as a burglary attempt. This whole situation is incredibly difficult to wrap my head around—especially given Caleb’s role in the community and their family life. Ashley seemed like such a dedicated person to her students and family. It breaks my heart to think about what her children are going through right now. The whole community is really feeling this loss.
