I've been following the Robert Simon case and wanted to talk about something that’s been on my mind. As someone who’s recently lost a loved one, I know it can often seem impossible to fully understand what someone might be going through in their final days. Robert Simon lived a long life, and I can’t help but wonder about his family and friends who were left behind, especially having to face such an unexpected end. With his death being ruled a suicide, it really hits home how crucial it is to check in on those we care about, regardless of their age. It’s easy to assume that someone who’s lived so long might have everything sorted out or be content, but mental health struggles don’t discriminate. I hope his loved ones find some solace, even if the questions left behind might never fully be answered. Let’s remember to reach out to those around us, especially the elderly who might be facing silent battles. My heart goes out to all who knew Robert.
