I'm still trying to wrap my head around the sheer senselessness of this tragedy. I just heard about Daryl Ellison's murder outside that Sheetz in Thomasville, and it hits differently knowing he was such a pillar in his community. What a loss. I'm struggling with how things escalated to this point. Reading that Leon Marsh suspected an affair doesn't make it any easier to accept. If there were tensions, it must have been incredibly stressful for everyone involved. I can't imagine the pain Daryl's family is feeling right now—going to court knowing they'll never see him again. Their world has changed forever in an instant. It's gut-wrenching to think about how quickly lives can be turned upside down by an act of violence. My heart goes out to all those families and individuals trying to make sense of this. Keep pushing for answers and justice. Daryl and everyone who loved him deserve it.
