I’ve been trying to piece together the tragic timeline of Keon Gill's last few hours, and something that sticks out to me is the location near Van Cortlandt Park. That area is usually bustling even late at night, with people out and about. I wonder if anyone nearby saw something that might have seemed insignificant at the time but could really help in identifying the attacker? I know there must be individuals who frequent that spot, maybe they have critical details that could assist the police. This senseless act has left Keon's loved ones grappling with an unimaginable loss, and I can’t imagine what his family is going through right now. If you were around the area that night, please check your memories and reach out to law enforcement with anything, no matter how small it might seem. Hoping for justice and closure for the family and friends of Keon.

I'm truly saddened to hear about what happened to Keon Gill. I can't even imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now. There’s something about tragedies happening on days that should be joyous that makes them feel even more cruel and unjust. The thought that Keon was eager to get back to his family to continue his birthday celebration adds another layer of tragedy to this senseless act. It's horrifying to think how quickly life can change. From what his friends have said, it’s clear that he was a well-loved member of the community. I think it's a beautiful gesture that his friends want to honor him with those jerseys at the YMCA. I wonder if there might be any surveillance footage from around Van Cortlandt Park or nearby businesses that might shed some light on the suspect's route after fleeing. If anyone has any insights or updates, please share. This family, and especially his young children, deserve answers and justice. My heart goes out to each and every one of them.
