I came across Emmanuel Jackson's case, and it's just such a sad situation for everyone involved. I can't stop thinking about how quickly life can change in the blink of an eye. Emmanuel was only 20 and had so much ahead of him, traveling all the way from Missouri to help out his friend, which speaks volumes about the kind of person he was. It makes you wonder about the dynamics between him and Jaylan Ellis—it's hard to imagine how one navigates the mix of emotions in such circumstances. While justice needs to be served, I hope there's room for healing too. My thoughts are with Emmanuel’s family and friends; losing someone so suddenly must be incomprehensibly difficult.
