I’ve been following the case about DaJour Ellison, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on his family and friends. It’s devastating to lose someone so young and full of potential. I keep wondering about the community resources in Creekwood and whether there are enough support systems in place for those who might be struggling with grief and trauma. Sometimes these events leave deep scars that aren’t easy to heal. It's important that neighborhoods have access to counseling and support groups, especially after such a tragic event. I hope there’s outreach from both community leaders and mental health professionals to help those affected process their emotions and find a way forward. My heart goes out to DaJour’s loved ones, and I truly hope they find the strength they need to cope during this incredibly difficult time.
