I've been following the Rancho Cordova case since it first made the news, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on young Colton's classmates and friends. It's unfathomable to imagine what those kids are going through right now. Losing a friend in such a violent way is traumatic, and I hope the school is providing plenty of support for them. I read that Colton was really passionate about science and astronomy—he must have inspired some of his peers with his curiosity. It’s important we keep talking about how to support young people during such difficult times. If anyone has any tips or resources, please share.
