I've been thinking a lot about the tragic loss of Josiah Alcozer, and it's hard not to feel the weight of what his family must be going through. I read somewhere that he was a big nature enthusiast. It’s often the little things like a love for the outdoors that really tell us who someone was. I can only imagine his family finding some solace in knowing he found joy in nature. If anyone ever went hiking or camping with him, maybe they have stories or memories that could bring comfort to his loved ones right now. A friend of mine once lost someone in a similar accident, and what helped them most was hearing stories about their lost loved one's happiest moments. I think it's so vital that Josiah's family hears about those carefree, laughter-filled days he spent in the great outdoors. His infectious sense of humor must have made every adventure so much more memorable. If you knew him, feel free to share those moments, either here or with the family directly. They might find it comforting to hear how he touched lives even beyond what they knew.
