Hi everyone, I've been reading through the posts about Anthony Johnson's case, and I've been thinking a lot about the role that community programs could play in situations like this. It's so tragic that incidents like Anthony's continue to happen, and it makes me wonder if there are preventative measures we could take as a community. Organizations that focus on conflict resolution and youth engagement might not solve everything, but they could potentially reduce the chances of such tragedies. Buffalo has seen its share of challenges with violent crimes, and it feels like we need a multi-layered approach to address the root causes. Restorative justice programs and accessible mental health resources also seem like they'd make a big difference. It breaks my heart to think about Anthony's family and the pain they must be going through. I hope that sharing these thoughts can lead to ideas that might prevent another family from experiencing such senseless loss.
