I've been thinking about the role the location played in this tragedy at Embassy Plaza. It makes me wonder about the safety measures in public spaces and how they might be improved to prevent such incidents. It's devastating for the community and, most importantly, for Izeal Peterson's loved ones. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them to not only deal with the loss but also to have no closure yet. Has anyone heard if there were security cameras in the area or any plans by local businesses to increase security measures? Might help bring some peace to those affected if there's assurance that actions are being taken to prevent future violence.
