I just learned about this case, and I'm trying to wrap my head around what happened. It seems really strange that he would choose to wait for border patrol in such a dangerous environment. The desert is brutal, especially in the summer. Does anyone know if he had any health conditions that could have impacted his decision? Or maybe he thought staying put would somehow lead to safer circumstances? It's so difficult to understand why the coyote didn't stay with him or ensure his safety. It's like a never-ending puzzle trying to piece together these events with the limited information we all have.

It's always distressing to hear about people disappearing in the desert. The coyote’s account of him becoming ill made me wonder about the conditions he faced during the crossing. The desert around Sasabe can be brutal, especially in the summer with temperatures soaring way above comfortable levels. Did anyone check if he had access to enough water and proper gear for such a journey? Dehydration and heatstroke can set in quickly. It's tragic how many people are forced into these dangerous crossings. Does anyone know if there’s a record of anyone from Border Patrol coming across someone in distress around that time? Every detail helps, even after all these years.

Hey everyone, I'm hoping to gather some insights into the environmental conditions around Sasabe around June 2008. I came across a case involving a man who disappeared while crossing the border near there, and it's been on my mind. Does anyone have any idea what the temperatures and conditions might have been like that summer? I read he became ill in the desert, and I'm wondering if extreme heat could have been a factor. Any info from locals or anyone familiar with the area back then would be appreciated. It must have been tough making that journey. Thanks!
