Does anyone remember Olga Lopez Barreno's case from back in '08? It's been over a decade, and I recently stumbled upon her NamUs profile again. It's so frustrating how little info is available about her disappearance. For those of us who are newer to the case, what do we know about the area around McAllen, TX, and the possible cross-border implications? I've read that disappearances near the border can be particularly challenging due to jurisdictional issues. I'm curious if others have insights into how these cases are usually handled or if similar cases have seen any breakthroughs recently.
