Hi everyone,
I was researching Margarito's case and came across something puzzling. Does anyone have any insights into the supposed sighting of Margarito at the little convenience store near East Mesa on the day he disappeared? I couldn't find much info on whether this lead was ever checked out thoroughly. It seems odd that there wouldn't be more details or follow-up on this sighting if it was credible. Maybe it was just a misidentification, but there's a lack of recent information on that angle. Thoughts? Is anyone local who might know more about this store or that area back then? It could be nothing, but you never know.
Thanks for any insights you can provide!
I came across a news article from 2008 about Margarito's disappearance and was struck by how little information there seems to be. It's puzzling to me that he was last seen in East Mesa, which isn't exactly a small town—there must have been people around. Does anyone know if search efforts were made in that area specifically? Were there any surveillance cameras nearby that might have caught something? It just seems like there should be more leads to follow up on after all these years. I hope someone who knows more about the details of the case might chime in or provide some updates.
Did anyone else notice the inconsistencies in Margarito's last known movements before he disappeared in East Mesa back in 2008? I've been reviewing the various sightings people reported that day, and some seem to contradict each other. One witness placed him at a gas station around 6 PM, while another swears they saw him at a nearby park at around the same time. It's odd that there's no footage confirming either sighting. I'm curious if these were genuine mistakes or if maybe Margarito was intentionally trying to lay low. Thoughts? Does anyone have more info or theories on this aspect of the case?
