Christopher Iverson was 21 when he was shot and killed in the early morning of August 24, 2013, in Buffalo, New York. Police answered a shots fired call about 1:40 AM at the intersection of St. Mary’s Road and Walden Avenue and found Iverson alive inside his vehicle; he was taken to Erie County Medical Center and died that morning. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head, chest, arm, and stomach.
At the time he was sitting in his car with a female companion outside his home on St. Mary’s Road. Neighbors reported hearing an argument, then singing, then gunfire. Witnesses described a lone gunman fleeing on foot wearing an orange hooded sweatshirt and grey sweatpants. Iverson was a father of four; one child was three months old when he was killed. No arrests have been made and the case remains unsolved.
Anyone who knew Christopher or who has information about that night is urged to contact the Buffalo Police Department.
