Hey all, I've been following the Aaron Armstrong case and something's been on my mind. I can't shake the image of what must have been going through Aaron's head as he made the decision to step in and help on that awful night at Club Rodeo. He was off-duty, and many might have just walked away, thinking it wasn't their responsibility. Yet, Aaron chose to act, showing a level of courage and commitment to public safety that not everyone possesses. His bravery in the face of danger speaks volumes about his character and dedication to his job and the community. It's truly tragic that his life ended in such a brutal and senseless way. His family and colleagues have lost a remarkable man, and our community has lost a true protector. I'd like to think that his actions that night epitomize what it means to be a peace officer—selfless and resolved. Sending thoughts of strength to his loved ones as they navigate this difficult time.
