Hey everyone, I've been following this tragic case in South Ogden and can't stop thinking about how this affects the families and neighbors involved. I'm particularly saddened for Brandon Kay's son, who was injured during such a horrifying ordeal and lost his father all in the same night. It's unimaginable the emotional and physical scars he's dealing with now. Also, the loss of their dog Samson just adds another layer to their pain. Animals hold such a special place in our hearts, especially in tough times, and losing him must feel like another cruel blow. I really hope the community can come together to support them through this. Does anyone know if there's been a support fund set up for the family? I'd like to help out if possible. Stay safe, everyone.
I can't stop thinking about how this tragedy unfolded and the intense fear that must have gripped the entire neighborhood that night. I mean, it took real courage for Brandon Kay to step outside, not knowing what was happening, and try to look out for his community. It's truly devastating that it cost him his life.
I was also thinking about his son, who's now dealing with an injury, and the trauma of losing his father and their family pet all at once. It feels like this was a nightmare they couldn’t wake up from. Having a tight-knit community suddenly shattered by an act of violence like this must be overwhelming.
I'd love to hear how the neighborhood is dealing with this now. Are there any support systems in place to help everyone come to terms with what happened? It's times like these that make you realize how important it is for communities to pull together. My thoughts are with everyone who’s been affected. ?
