Has anyone else seen the news coverage about the vigil held for Kymani "Mani" Baker? The outpouring of love and community support was truly moving. It's clear how much he meant to so many people in Summerville—from his school friends at Fort Dorchester High to his coworkers at Sonic Drive-in. It’s a tragic reminder of how precious life is. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through. It’s so important for the community to come together at times like these, both to remember Kymani and to support each other as we try to find answers. I really hope the authorities will have a break in the case soon. If anyone knows of any updates or if there's any way to help the family, please share.
Hey everyone, I've been following Kymani Baker's case since it happened, and I just can't stop thinking about how senseless this all is. I want to talk about the impact on Fort Dorchester High School and how it's been affecting the students and staff there. From what I've read, Kymani was a beloved student, and you can really sense the depth of the loss they're all experiencing.
A friend who's got kids at the school said they've been providing counseling and support, but it's tough. How do you come back to a classroom when someone so bright and full of promise was just taken away? It's a scary reminder for all the students of how precious life is and how it can be disrupted in a moment. Families are hugging their teens a little tighter, and while candles and messages of love can comfort, the fear and sadness linger.
I just wish there was more public information on the search for those responsible—not only to bring justice for Kymani but also to give some peace to everyone grieving. Let's hope for a break in the case soon. If you have any more info or resources on how the school or community is coping, please share. This is where we, as a true crime community, can offer our support. ✨
