Has anyone heard more about any potential security measures that could be put in place moving forward in the Slaton community? It’s gut-wrenching to think that something like this could happen in what many consider a safe, tight-knit community. I understand that this tragedy stems from domestic issues, but it makes you wonder about the general safety and prevention measures for situations like this. Marisol and Araceli should have been safe in their own home, and I can't even imagine how their families are coping. I hope the community comes together to support those impacted and to ensure that measures are in place to help prevent this from happening to anyone else.
