In light of the ongoing investigation into Jeremy’s tragic death, I can’t help but wonder about the role the neighborhood might play in finding answers. Victorville isn’t known for frequent violent crime, and such incidents likely stick out to the residents. There’s got to be someone who saw or heard something more than the gunshots. Neighborhood watch groups or even those involved with Mojave Vista Elementary might have valuable insight. Often, it’s these tight-knit community eyes that catch details the rest of us might miss. I urge anyone with possible information, no matter how minor it seems, to speak up. Even the smallest piece of information could be crucial in piecing together what happened on that fateful night. It’s so important for Jeremy’s family and our community to find some semblance of closure and ensure justice is served.

I’ve been following Jeremy’s case closely, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact it's had on his teammates. It’s so difficult for young kids to process the loss of a friend, especially in such a violent manner. I can only imagine the sorrow and confusion they’re all experiencing, trying to make sense of why this happened to someone they looked up to on and off the field. The sense of camaraderie in a sports team is like a second family, and losing a member like Jeremy must feel like losing a brother. It’s crucial that the community rallies around these kids, providing them with the support they need to heal and move forward. I really hope there are grief counselors working with Team Elite and the SoCal Trojans, to help them find ways to remember the good times and cherish the memories they shared with Jeremy. If anyone has heard how the team is coping, or if there are any initiatives in place for them, I would love to know. It’s important for us as a community to ensure these young athletes don’t feel alone during such a challenging time.
