Hi everyone, I've been following the Ambridge case, and I've been thinking about the impact this must have had on the two teenagers who were in the house at the time of the shooting. Can you imagine the trauma they must be dealing with? Hearing arguments for hours and then the ultimate horror of gunshots ringing out in the night. It's such a terrifying situation for teens to find themselves in, and I hope they are receiving the support and counseling they'll need to process everything. It's also unsettling to hear that there were "ghost guns" involved, which raises so many questions about how this situation escalated so quickly. What causes someone to stockpile untraceable weapons like that? I feel like there are still many pieces of the puzzle missing here, and my heart goes out to the families trying to make sense of it all. It's truly a disturbing case, and I hope justice will be served for Ashley and Andre. Stay safe, everyone.

Has anyone else thought about the potential impact on the two teenagers who were in the house during the shooting? It's terrifying to think that they were there while all of this was happening. The fact they heard the argument and then the gunshots must be beyond traumatic. I can't imagine the emotional scars they might have now. Being relocated with family is hopefully giving them some comfort, but it’s probably hard to feel safe after witnessing such a devastating tragedy. I hope they're getting the support and counseling they need during this difficult time. If anyone has experience or knowledge about resources for helping teens cope with such traumatic experiences, it'd be great to share that here. It's just so important they find a way to heal from this.
