Was anyone else absolutely shocked to hear about the involvement of Davon Scheler in Shain's case? I mean, a 21-year-old from Texas? It seems so out of the blue and makes me wonder if there’s a bigger story we’re missing. How did he end up at the hospital with a gunshot wound that night, and what was his connection to Shain? It's hard not to get frustrated thinking about how senseless this all seems. Just imagining what Shain's family is going through right now is difficult; losing someone so full of life and creativity must be a tremendous void in their lives. I hope justice is served for them. And my heart goes out to everyone affected by this devastating incident. Anyone else have thoughts on what might have connected these individuals?
