Has anyone heard more about the suspect's background in Scott Reed Armstrong's case? I did a bit of reading and noticed Domonique Drew was apprehended not long after the incident itself, which makes me wonder if the authorities had already been monitoring him prior. It gives me pause about how people we see every day might be involved in something so tragic without us ever knowing. I can’t imagine what Armstrong’s family and friends are going through right now, especially given how sudden this was. Scott seemed to be quite the outdoorsman, especially with his interests in hunting and fishing. It's tragic to lose someone with such a zest for life and an active presence in their community. My heart goes out to his children—this has to be incredibly difficult for them. Does anyone know if there have been any local efforts to support the family or remember Scott in a particular way?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the community impact of Scott Reed Armstrong's tragic passing. He seemed like a well-loved guy, and from what I’ve read, he had a real connection with nature through his love for hunting and fishing. These pastimes are so integral to personal peace for many people, and it’s just devastating to think how someone with such a vibrant connection to life could be taken in such a violent way. Fort Wayne is not an enormous community, and I can only imagine how this loss is reverberating among his family and friends. It's scary to think that such violence could happen at a neighborhood gas station, a place everyone frequents without a second thought. I hope the community can come together to support Scott’s family during this time. And I also hope that stronger community bonds can help prevent this type of senseless tragedy in the future. It’s important we all feel safe in our own neighborhoods. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this. Peace.
