Wow, the case of Gary Hooser and David Laguerre is just so tragic. My heart really goes out to their families and friends who are still waiting for answers. It's so frustrating thinking about how much violence plagued Buffalo that year. I've been reading about the spike in gun violence there, and it seems like a lot of people have been living in fear. With the community's help, I really hope the police can make progress in solving these cases. Witnesses or anyone with knowledge could really play a crucial part in bringing justice for Gary, David, and their loved ones. Let's keep the conversation going and support each other in pushing for justice. Anyone else here from Buffalo who remembers 2014? It must have been such a difficult time. Any insights or local perspective on what it was like back then would be appreciated.
I still can't wrap my head around what happened to Gary Hooser and David Laguerre that night on Butler Avenue. It feels like just another example of how senseless violence has become so prevalent in our society. This young man, just 21, had his entire life ahead of him, and it was ripped away in an instant. It's incredibly painful to think about what his family must be going through—losing a child is an unfathomable tragedy. And with the case still unsolved, I can't imagine how they're managing with so many unanswered questions. If anyone in the area knows anything, I really hope they find the courage to speak up. Gary and David deserve justice, and their families need some peace. Buffalo has seen far too much of this already, and we need to come together as a community to put an end to this violence.
