I've been thinking about the vigil they held for Justine and Nila at that small community park. It sounds like the turnout was incredible, with so many people showing up to support the family and remember these two beautiful lives that were lost too soon. Justine was such a force in our school district; her passion for education touched so many kids' lives. And Nila, sweet Nila, always had a way of making everyone feel included. Friends have been sharing memories of her on social media, talking about her infectious laughter and the way she went out of her way to help others. It's hard to comprehend how someone could take that away from us. Hoping the family feels the love and strength of our community during this unimaginably difficult time. Sending them all the love and light to get through this.
