Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact of bystanders in cases like this, specifically Harston's brother who was present at the scene. It's difficult to imagine waking up to such a horrific situation and processing everything that's happening around you. I can't help but wonder what kind of pressure or mixed emotions Harston's brother must have felt hearing the confrontation escalate to gunshots and then realizing someone had lost their life. Having a family member involved in such a serious crime could create an overwhelming personal conflict. It must be an incredibly confusing place to be when you might be torn between loyalty and the pursuit of truth. I hope he has access to support as he deals with this traumatic experience. I'm really interested in hearing your thoughts about how law enforcement typically handles gathering information from witnesses who are also family members in these kinds of cases. Sending strength to Garza’s family and everyone affected by this tragedy. It’s truly a challenging situation for all involved.

I’ve been following the details of this case closely, and something that really stands out to me is the role of Harston’s brother. It’s somehow easy to overlook how secondary characters in these tragedies are affected. I can't imagine what it must be like to wake up to such a terrifying scene, involving people you presumably know. Is there more information on the brother’s perspective? It's got to be incredibly difficult knowing that your brother was involved in something so devastating. I wonder if he has provided any further statements beyond hearing the argument and shots. This has to weigh heavily on him, and it's a grim reminder of how these events have broader impacts on families and communities.
