Hey everyone, I've been diving into Jamilah Furquan's case, and something that's been on my mind is the lack of progress in solving these kinds of cases in Buffalo. For a city like Buffalo to experience such an increase in homicides back in 2014, especially involving teenagers like Jamilah, it's unbelievably saddening. I've read about community rallies and how people have tried different ways to bring attention to this, but it seems like the momentum fades after a while, and justice still feels so far away for Jamilah's family. I'm curious if any locals here have been involved in any awareness campaigns or know if there are ongoing initiatives to keep her case in the public eye. It's tough to imagine how her family is coping without answers all these years later. They really deserve closure.
