I've been following the updates on the tragic incident at the RTA Puritas Rapid Station. My heart goes out to Benjamin McComas's friends and family; I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through right now. One thing that's been on my mind is the whole situation with Donnie Allen being released on bond just days before the shooting. It seems like there's been a lot of talk about how this happened, and it makes me question how the bail system is operating. Is this an isolated issue, or are there bigger systemic problems? I think it's essential for the Cleveland City Council to get to the bottom of this and figure out if any policy changes are needed to prevent similar tragedies from occurring. At the very least, it might give Benjamin's loved ones some reassurance that meaningful action is being taken. Thoughts?
