Hey everyone, I'm really struggling to process what happened to Doris Morales-Ruiz. I've been thinking a lot about her kids and how they must be coping right now. I can't even begin to imagine what it’s like for them to lose their mom in such a sudden and violent way, especially during the holiday season. Doris sounded like such a caring and hardworking person, deeply rooted in her community. It's clear she had a big impact on those around her. I really hope her family, especially her kids, have a strong support system to lean on during this devastating time. It's also hard not to wonder what could have driven Perez to commit such a horrific act. The fact that this turned into a murder-suicide just adds another layer of tragedy. It’s so important for the community to come together and support each other, share memories of Doris, and keep her legacy alive. I’m keeping her family in my thoughts.
